• A Picture ID (if you have one)
• Medications currently taking
• ER records (if applicable)
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING ON MY FIRST MONDAY?
At this time, we do not offer food to the public. If you are in urgent need of food, please contact our clinic to speak with our social services coordinator, or visit our resource handbook located on our Social Services Page.
DOES HEAL THE CITY GIVE OUT FOOD?
For adult vaccinations, HTC partners with the Amarillo Health Department on the 1st Monday of the month beginning at 4:30pm.
DOES HEAL THE CITY OFFER ADULT IMMUNIZATIONS?
Yes, Heal the City offers free-of-charge vaccinations for children Mondays 4pm-7pm. Anyone who is 18 or younger and is enrolled in Medicaid, does not have health insurance, or is an American Indian / Native Alaskan qualifies.
DOES HEAL THE CITY OFFER IMMUNIZATIONS FOR CHILDREN?
Parents must bring a current copy of each child’s immunization record.
A signed note must be provided from the parent or legal guardian, if they are not present with the child.
The note must include:
Child’s name and date of birth
Name of adult (18 or older) bringing the child to be immunized
Name of parent or legal guardian that is giving their permission
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO HAVE MY CHILD IMMUNIZED?
As of now, we offer acute dental care on Monday nights and referrals for area dentists who can do extractions and fillings. Potential dental screenings take place at 3:30 pm.
