I was born and raised on a family ranch near Dalhart and have lived in Amarillo for 28 years. My 28 years at Amarillo Gear has given me many opportunities, including exposure to many parts of the world, in all its diversity. This has helped me better understand the many needs that are prevalent right here in our backyard. What a true privilege and honor it is to be associated with the Lord’s work being performed through Heal the City, its staff and many volunteers in helping so many with health needs in our community.

For 17 years I have been in private pediatric practice at Amarillo Children's Clinic. I have been blessed to serve impoverished children in third world countries on short mission trips over the past 10 years. This was a very rewarding experience for me. I was very excited to when given the opportunity to serve children in our local area that have limited access to medical care. I passionate about the children, and I feel Heal the City meets a need that was previously not filled in the community.

I've been a long time resident of Amarillo. I have a lovely family,  husband, daughter and grandson. I have been a community volunteer in Canyon and Amarillo for over 35 years. The Lord gave me a ministry H.E.L.P over 30 years ago. I love helping others and that's why I enjoy volunteering at Heal the City. I attend Greater Love Ministries, where I am a minister as well. Helping people is my passion and showing them God's love is my purpose.
