I was born and raised on a family ranch near Dalhart and have lived in Amarillo for 28 years. My 28 years at Amarillo Gear has given me many opportunities, including exposure to many parts of the world, in all its diversity. This has helped me better understand the many needs that are prevalent right here in our backyard. What a true privilege and honor it is to be associated with the Lord’s work being performed through Heal the City, its staff and many volunteers in helping so many with health needs in our community.

For 17 years I have been in private pediatric practice at Amarillo Children's Clinic. I have been blessed to serve impoverished children in third-world countries on short mission trips over the past 10 years. This was a very rewarding experience for me. I was very excited when given the opportunity to serve children in our local area that have limited access to medical care. I am passionate about the children, and I feel Heal the City meets a need that was previously not filled in the community.

I was born and raised here in Amarillo, and I’m proud to still call this community home. I was blessed to play four years of Division I basketball at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, I moved to Cork, Ireland, to play professional basketball while earning a master’s degree in International Business and Marketing at Munster Technological University.

Today, I serve as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, where I strive to help individuals and families preserve and grow their wealth, while focusing on personalized objectives. I am excited and grateful to be a part of the HTC mission and to give back to a community that has shaped who I am.

I grew up in Amarillo, graduated with a Masters of Accountancy from Texas Tech, and have been blessed to work with many non-profit organizations throughout my career. When I am not practicing accounting, I homeschool my three beautiful girls. Any opportunity I have, I love to hike, ride bicycles, garden, and travel with my husband and girls.

As a third generation resident of Amarillo, I genuinely love all the people of this area. I am thankful that, even though I am an accountant, I am able to serve this community and transform lives through volunteering at Heal the City.
