Services Offered:

  • Curbside food pantry: Only allowed to pick up once a month.

  • Hunger Project: Grocery store available to families containing at least one person in the household over the age of 55 OR receiving disability benefits.

  • Affordable Housing

  • Disaster Relief

  • Emergency Youth Shelter: While most of the children are placed through CPS, there are also beds available for homeless youth. Children placed from CPS are able to stay for 90 days, while runaway and homeless youth may for 21 days. Essentials are provided for them while they stay.

  • Immigration Legal Services: By appointment only.

  • Refugee Settlement: CCTXP’s dedicated case workers (all of them former refugees) rent and furnish apartments for new arrivals, meet them at the airport, set up health screenings and help clients navigate social service agencies. In addition, our refugee clients must attend English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. CCTXP refugee department staff provide training on transportation, hygiene, safety and other important issues

  • Safe Place: Safe Place is a national youth outreach program that educates youth about the dangers of running away or trying to resolve difficult, threatening situations on their own.

  • Food (Monday – Saturday)

    • Breakfast: 6:00 - 7:00 am

    • Lunch: 12:00 – 1:00 pm

    • Sack Meals: 5:30 - 6:30 pm

  • Shelter (Monday – Sunday)

    • Emergency overnight shelter: Overnight guests are asked to be here by 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and by 4:30 pm on Sunday. Exceptions may be given.

    • Inclement weather shelter: Guests may stay throughout the winter.

    • Tuesdays (12:30 – 1:30 pm): Women

    • Thursdays (12:30 – 1:30 pm): Men

  • Rez Program: 8-month program for single women, many of them mothers. They are taught valuable life skills so they can learn how to be independent and ultimately live on their own. A children’s ministry is offered to mother’s in the Rez Program.

  • Hope for Men and Women Programs: Year-long drug and alcohol addiction support. They receive recovery support, biblical support, educational classes, and have the opportunity to get their basic needs such as shelter, food, clothing, driver's license, social security card, off-site medical and dental needs, and much more.

  • Missionite Program: 6-12 month program for men that have special needs or disabilities. We provide food, clothing, and shelter to these men in exchange for them participating a job training program.

  • Work Program: The Work Program is a 6-12 month program for men who have full-time jobs but do not have a place to live. Food, clothing, and shelter are provided for them until they can get reestablished in the community.
